In a recent research study, it has been found that patients and visitors to hospitals tend to become anxious, agitated and in some cases aggressive. The studies have shown this to be down to one main factor and that is the inability for patients and visitors to use their devices whilst in hospital.
It was found that for the first hour after arriving at a hospital, most patients and visitors are fine whilst they are on their devices. This is often a welcome distraction. However after that first hour has passed, device battery life disappears and this is when issues arise.
